Today marks the premiere of Nicoletta’s latest musical release. House of the Rising Sun, a powerful and emotional reinterpretation of the legendary folk song, is now available on YouTube, simultaneously released on all major streaming platforms.
Fans of classic music can look forward to an atmospheric version with vocal depth and cinematic intensity. The style is very much in line with Nicoletta’s previous cover projects.

In this emotional acoustic version, Nicoletta deliberately chose a stripped-down arrangement with only voice and guitar to highlight the melancholic beauty of the song.

Coming in May: Tears of the Dragon
The next musical journey is already on its way. In May, Nicoletta will release her new cover of Tears of the Dragon by Bruce Dickinson, an iconic rock ballad from 1994, also selected by her Ko-fi community.
The song is from Dickinson’s first solo album Balls to Picasso and is considered one of his most personal works. With its epic structure, emotional guitar work and profound lyrics, Tears of the Dragon is a powerful anthem about inner struggles, transformation and self-liberation. Musically, it stands apart from the classic heavy metal style of his main band Iron Maiden.
Nicoletta will give this piece an entirely new dimension with her unique voice and heartfelt interpretation.

The Story Behind House of the Rising Sun
The origins of House of the Rising Sun date back to the 18th century. It is a traditional American folk song, likely with English roots. The song tells the tragic story of a life led astray by the “House of the Rising Sun,” often interpreted as a brothel or gambling den.
The song became especially famous thanks to The Animals, whose 1964 version became a global hit.
Since then, countless artists have reinterpreted the song, but Nicoletta’s version stands out for its personal touch, dramatic soundscape and emotional vocal performance.
