Alterium Live Hangout Recap – New Music, Album Update & Tour News

On March 10th, Alterium celebrated the first anniversary of their debut album "Of War and Flames" with a special live hangout on YouTube. Together with fans from around the world, the band spent two hours answering questions, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, and giving exclusive updates on what’s coming next.

New Music Coming This Summer

To shorten the waiting time for their second album, the band announced a big surprise coming this summer - featuring new music! While details are still under wraps, fans can definitely look forward to hearing something fresh soon.

Update on Second Album & Label Situation

They also shared some honest insights about the current status of the upcoming album. The good news: Work is progressing well, with much of the songwriting already in an advanced phase.

However, due to the unexpected closure of their label, AFM Records, they are now facing the challenge of finding a new label or releasing the album independently. Since this process takes time, the release of the second album will likely happen next year, although the band is working hard behind the scenes.

In addition, Alterium revealed their plans to offer future CDs and vinyls through their own official shop, with worldwide shipping. Fans will also have the opportunity to order signed items directly from the band, making future releases even more personal and exclusive.

Upcoming Shows in Europe & USA

Alterium also talked about their upcoming live shows, including several tour dates across Europe and - for the first time ever - a performance in the United States! In September 2025, Alterium will play at Prog Power USA Festival in Atlanta, marking a huge milestone in their journey. Needless to say, they are super excited to meet their American fans in person!

Behind the Scenes, Fun Stories & Eurovision Talk

Throughout the hangout, the band shared plenty of fun anecdotes and behind-the-scenes moments from their life as musicians and their live shows. From funny on-stage experiences to unforgettable moments on tour, fans got a real glimpse into the band's world beyond the music.
